Poseidon: Dataset

This is a sample of the original dataset associated with the paper "The Physical Limit of Neural Hypoxia Detection in the Black Sea from Satellite Observations".

Dataset construction

This dataset was built from the two sources above by extracting matching latitude, longitude, and depth level coordinates (see the GitHub repository for the full preprocessing pipeline). Each variable was then standardized using the per-level mean and standard deviation computed over the full dataset.

Content

This sample covers the period 2019-01-01 to 2019-04-01 (three months), which can be used for training, validation, and testing by splitting across months.
