An Exact Combinatorial Dataset of Video Poker Return-to-Player and Optimal Hold Strategy

Open dataset of the exact return-to-player (RTP), house edge and optimal hold strategy for common video poker games, computed by full combinatorial enumeration of all 2,598,960 possible five-card deals. For each game the engine evaluates every way to hold or discard a dealt hand, computes the exact expected value of each hold under the game's pay table, selects the maximum-expected-value hold, and averages the optimal return across every deal. The engine reproduces the published return of 99.5439% for 9/6 Jacks or Better and 99.7283% for Not-So-Ugly (NSU) Deuces Wild, matching established references to four decimal places, and reproduces the exact reference hand-category frequencies for both evaluators.
