EPNATElections.1979-2024

Dataset on vote shares in European Parliament elections and corresponding national parliamentary elections, which includes all parties contesting all popular European elections and their closest preceding national elections from 1979 to 2019. Except vote shares, the data include information on party participation in government at the time of European elections, election timing, state of economy indicators, and turnout.
