Temporal and spatial variability of terrestrial diatoms at the catchment scale

Investigation of the spatial and temporal variability of soil diatoms in the Attert River Basin between October 2017 and November 2018. 16 sites were sampled monthly for 14 months. The data set includes diatom counts (expressed as percentages) of 206 samples together with habitat descriptors such as habitat type, amount of disturbance, soil type (columns) for each time and per site (rows). Diatom species are represented as four letter codes used in Omnidia (Lecointe, Coste & Prygiel, 1993).
