North American Swine-exhibitor Active Longitudinal Surveillance. Influenza A virus

To understand zoonotic influenza A virus dynamics in youth swine exhibitors so we can predict, prepare for, and prevent zoonotic IAV transmission. A secondary goal is to monitor the genomic properties of influenza A virus circulating in our cohort of participants to be compared with influenza strains detected in commercial and exhibition swine in the United States.
