This dataset contains records for 5097 geolocated mining projects extracting or projecting to extract energy transition minerals and metals. Project locations are cross-referenced using multiple geospatial data sources to assess i) intersectionality with Indigenous Peoples’ and Peasant lands and ii) the concurrent presence of political, social, economic and environmental conditions relevant to the safeguarding of the distinct consultation and consent rights of these peoples.
