PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing biomass-formed material， in which a biomass-formed material having excellent water resistance and strength can be obtained. SOLUTION: The method for producing biomass-formed material includes the steps of: mixing a saccharide-containing plant ground product or veneer and a polyvalent carboxylic acid to yield a mixture; squeezing the mixture to yield a squeezed product and a juice; and heating and pressing the squeezed product to form.
