Microbes of Taxus rhizosphere have been studied by clone library and amplicon sequencing approaches, and various strains with application potentials were isolated and characterized. However, a fundamental data gapis the baseline functional description of Taxus rhizosphere microbiomewith/without non-native microbe pressures. In the present study, the shotgun high throughput metagenomic sequencing was implemented to globally capture the features of Taxus rhizosphere microbiome.
