Daqu, a liquor starter, provides abundant microorganisms for saccharification and fermentation in baijiu making. According to difference of highest temperature in culture, daqu can be divided into jiangxiangxing daqu and nongxiangxing daqu. The metagenomics was employed to illustrate and compare the Bcterial community in nongxiangxing daqu and jiangxiangxing daqu.
