Materials Data on NpPt3 by Materials Project

NpPt3 is beta Cu3Ti-like structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Np6+ is bonded to twelve Pt2- atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing NpPt12 cuboctahedra. There are a spread of Np–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.87–3.01 Å. There are two inequivalent Pt2- sites. In the first Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Np6+ atoms. In the second Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Np6+ atoms.NpPt3 具有类β-Cu₃Ti结构，结晶于正交晶系Cmcm空间群。该结构为三维框架结构。六价镎离子（Np⁶+）与十二个二价铂离子（Pt²-）配位，形成兼具面共享与角共享特征的NpPt₁₂立方八面体配位多面体。Np–Pt键长分布范围为2.87~3.01埃。体系中存在两个不等价的Pt²-配位位点：在第一个Pt²-位点中，Pt²-以畸变跷跷板型配位方式与四个等价的Np⁶+成键；在第二个Pt²-位点中，Pt²-同样以畸变跷跷板型配位方式与四个等价的Np⁶+成键。
