Studies on the mechanisms underlying human epidermal stem cell differentiation by epigallocatechin gallate

To elucidate the mechanism by which epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) promotes the differentiation of epidermal stem cells (EpSCs), we performed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) on EpSCs treated with or without 2 μM EGCG for 3 days. This analysis revealed the transcriptome profile regulated by EGCG. EpSCs were isolated from human skin, cultured, and treated with or without 2 μM EGCG. RNA was isolated from the cells for RNA sequencing.
