To investigate the different responses of WT and dsu to U. maydis, transcriptome analysis was perfromed and the results showed that reprogramming of maize transcription after infection U. maydis. Overall design: The whorls leaves of WT and dsu seedlings were infected with SG200 strains at three leaves stage. Total RNA were isolated from the SG200- and mock-infected plant leaves at 4 day after infection.
