Total Primary Energy Supply - Solar, Wind, Tide and Other (IEA)

Total primary energy supply (TPES) is made up of production + imports - exports - international marine bunkers +/- stock changes. Solar, Wind, Tide and Wave - Indigenous production of solar, wind, tide and wave energy and the use of these energy forms for electricity generation. Other uses shown in this column relate only to solar heat. For solar, wind, tide and wave energy, the quantities entering electricity generation are equal to the electrical energy generated. A KTOE is defined as 41.868 TJ (Terajoules) or 11.630 GWh (Gigawatt-Hour).
