Activated carbon amendment of sand in the base of a pilot-scale permeable pavement reduces total nitrogen and nitrate leaching

This project aims for evaluate activated carbon amended sand as the basement material for a permeable pavement as the first infrastructure for stormwater pollution management. The stormwater samples were collected from the Newcastle University campus over 12 months.
