This repository contains the raw high-resolution images from the microfluidic experiments on Ostwald ripening of trapped hydrogen in porous media reported by Salehpour et al. (2026), “Ostwald ripening in underground gas storage,” Geophysical Research Letters, 53, e2025GL120691.
The dataset comprises four experiments:
80 °C with high initial residual gas saturation (80C_HS)
80 °C with low initial residual gas saturation (80C_LS)
40 °C with high initial residual gas saturation (40C_HS)
40 °C with low initial residual gas saturation (40C_LS)
For each image, the timestamp is encoded in the filename in units of minutes.
