Maker Spaces visited by the MakerTour association

This dataset collects information about more than 140 maker spaces, collected by members of the MakerTour association during several visits in different regions of the world. In each of these maker spaces, also known as workshops or laboratories of digital fabrication (fablabs), a standard form was completed in which numeric data (e.g. surface in square meters), categorical (e.g. type of entity) and textual (e.g. contact address) data were collected. Likewise, other details such as the business model or the template were documented in fields of free text format. Each visit is dated and represents the situation of the different spaces at the time of the visit.
To preserve the privacy of the members of the workshops, personal and contact data detected have been removed, which can be consulted on the original website https://www.makertour.fr/workshops
