LM4.2-GIMICS/SIMPLE code and source data/model outputs underlying all figures in the main text and Supplementary Information for: "Implications of Microbial Dynamics and Soil Physicochemical Stabilization for Global Soil Carbon Sequestration" Contents LM4.2-GIMICS/SIMPLE code The main GIMICS equations are implemented in: soil_BGC/GIMICS The main SIMPLE equations are implemented in: soil_BGC/SIMPLE These directories contain the core routines governing litter and soil carbon microbial dynamics, decomposition, and soil physicochemical stabilization processes used in this study. Source data The Excel file contains the source data used to generate Figures 2–3, 7–8, 10, S1, and S2. Each worksheet is labeled according to the corresponding figure number. Model outputs The NetCDF files contain model outputs used to generate Figures 4–6 and 9. Variables, units, and dimensions are described in the corresponding figures and figure captions in the main text.
