Surface soil temperature of a sesame crop in southwest Texas

This upload includes field-measured data of surface soil temperature, as well as related other variables, such as soil water content, air temperature, and leaf area index etc., of a sesame crop under irrigated production condition during the growing season of 2015 in Uvalde, Texas, USA. It serves as supplementary material in support of a manuscript entitled "Improving near-surface soil temperature estimation using empirical and numerical methods in crop-covered surfaces", which is currently under peer-review.
