RNA-sequencing analysis of quiescent and activated human skeletal muscle stem cells. RNA-sequencing analysis of human skeletal muscle stem cells

Quiescent and activated human skeletal muscle stem cells are analyzed by whole-transcriptome RNA-sequencing. These cells are prospectively isolated from latissimus dorsi muscle. Quiescent cells are analyzed immediately following prospective isolation. Activated cells are analyzed after 1 week in culture. Additionally, activated cells (again cultured for one week) and treated with a p38 MAPK inhibitor are analyzed.
