Transcriptome of Starfish During Early Development

RNA sequencing done for six stages of Patiria exigua development; gastrula, early brachiolaria, hatched brachiolaria, early metamorphosis, late metamorphosis, juvenile. Three biological replicates were sampled at each stage. Assembled transcripts were identified based on matches to another species of starfish, Patiria miniata and early- and late-expressed genes identified.
