The study aims to employ CUT&Tag technology using the anti-H3K27ac antibody to investigate the epigenetic landscape of the E12.5 placenta. H3K27ac is a well-known marker of enhancers and promoters, and its profiling can reveal important regulatory regions associated with gene expression during placental development. Understanding these regulatory mechanisms is crucial for elucidating the complex processes governing placental development. Insights gained from this study could contribute to a better understanding of placental biology and potentially inform strategies to address complications related to placental dysfunction, ultimately improving pregnancy outcomes.
