Dataset for the title "Do Biodegradable Mulch Film Microplastics Affect Plant Performance and Soil Health? A Short-Term Study at Field-Realistic Concentrations"

This study investigated the short-term effects of biodegradable mulch film microplastics (PBAT and SBB) on lettuce growth and soil nutrient availability compared to conventional PE and control treatments. An outdoor pot experiment with sandy loam soil (0.11% w/w microplastics, 8 weeks) assessed plant performance, soil nutrients, and polymer surface changes.
