资源简介:
Thirteen samples representing the #20 screen size macrofloral remains from
the fill of six features at Site 36FR357 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, were
sent for identification. This site is believed to represent an undisturbed
multi-component prehistoric site, with occupations from the Paleo-Indian Period
through the Middle Woodland Period. The large quantities of fire-cracked rock
and utilized flake tools suggest that the site was a habitation site. The
Washington Township Municipal Authority (WIMA) plans to develop the project area
for use as a water treatment plant. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide
information concerning plants utilized by the occupants of the site.
