Bathymetry surveys for Fitzroy Estuary QLD and Cassady and Palm Cks (Hinchinbrook, QLD) 2024-25: CSIRO Tidal Inundation Project

This dataset compiles field survey information derived from multibeam sonar data captured for the CSIRO Tidal Inundation Project, 2024-25. The dataset consists of Cloud Optimised GeoTiff and XYZ files at varying spatial resolutions for the bathymetric surveys carried out during this project. Survey data is presented at spatial resolutions of 2 metres, 1 metre and, for the Hinchinbrook sites, 50 centimetre spacing. \nLineage: An Edgetech 6205s2 multiphase echo sounder was used to capture bathymetry, with capture of two frequencies (540kHz and 850kHz) of sidescan data - mosaic generation is based upon the 540kHz capture. Footprint size for capture was 1.0º x 0.5º (at 540kHz). For motion correction, an Applanix RTK GNSS/INS was incorporated in the transducer housing, with roll and pitch accuracies of 0.3º and heading accuracy of 0.6º. Survey data has been rectified to the local MGA zone and AHD vertical datum through Trimble CentrePoint RTX navigation aiding, with horizontal and vertical accuracies of
