Integration of ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analysis identifies host genes related with PRRSV infection

This integrated multi-omics study reveals that PRRSV infection remodels the host epigenome, driving changes in gene expression through altered chromatin accessibility. We identified key candidate genes (e.g., IL1B, CCL20, CSF3) and enriched immune pathways central to the viral infection mechanism. These findings provide crucial insights into PRRSV pathogenesis and unveil potential targets for novel therapeutic and vaccine strategies.
