Sepsis has a high mortality rate, and the treatment of sepsis remains a significant challenge worldwide. Our previous study suggested that a traditional Chinese medicine formula, Shen FuHuang formula (SFH), has shown promising therapeutic effects in the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients with the septic syndrome.
