Drug -resistant epilepsy (DRE) poses therapeutic challenges, often accompanied by considerable comorbidities that extend beyond seizure activity. While the gut-brain axis has garnered interest as a therapeutic option, the impact of probiotic supplementation in DRE remains underexplored in Southeast Asia. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of probiotics on clinical outcomes and quality of life in Malaysian patients with DRE.
