To explore the mechanisms by which NETs induce PBC-like changes in biliary epithelial cells, we co-cultured HIBEpiCs with NETs induced by resistin (250 ng/mL) and NETs induced by PMA (10 nM) for 48 h. Total RNA was collected from HIBEpiCs, and RNA sequencing was performed to analyze the transcriptional changes caused by NETs in normal human biliary epithelial cells.
