Understanding the cluster selection function is a key feature to use galaxycluster samples as cosmological probes. Thanks to the multiwavelength coverageof larger areas of the sky we are now able to compare cluster samples selectedby independent methods to understand better their underlying cluster population. Thanks to the eROSITA coverage of a HSC shear-selected cluster sample wecharacterised their X-ray properties finding that the weak-lensing peak sampleshares all properties of an X-ray selected sample. However there are threeX-ray faint shear-selected clusters that lie outside our expectations and forwhich we propose deeper observations to understand their nature and the X-rayand weak-lensing selection functions of galaxy clusters.
