dataset of experimentally validated genes involved in the virulence of V. anguillarum

This database compiles all experimentally validated genes involved in the virulence of V. anguillarum, and provides a record of each gene entry. The dataset includes the gene tag, start and stop genomic coordinates, the biological system in which it operates, and relevant associated literature. We looked for ‘Vibrio anguillarum’ in Pubmed, and read title and abstract of all the articles published between January 1965 and January 2025 to identify relevant studies. Accession numbers corresponding to virulence genes were retrieved from publicly available genomic repositories NCBI and DDBJ.
