To investigate the role of CP190 in gene regulation during Drosophila spermatogenesis, we generated transgenic conditional rescue system, that enabled us to achieve CP190 inactivation specifically in male germline. We performed RNA-Seq gene expression profiling in testes from Drosophila males, bearing transgenes for conditional rescue under CP190-mutant (conditional rescue) or wild type (CP190 overexpression in somatic cells) background. Overall design: RNA-Seq gene expression profiling in control yw;{Ubi>Stop>mCD8>GFP}/nanos-Cre testes, CP190-mCD8-GFP/nanos-Cre testes (overexpression) and yw;CP190-mCD8-GFP/nanos-Cre;CP190_2/CP190_3 testes (conditional rescue) testes of Drosophila melanogaster. We generated biological replicates for each sample, thus we obtained 8 RNA-Seq gene expression profiles.
