This dataset originates from an empirical study designed to investigate the impact of employees' perception of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on their job performance. The data was collected from 420 corporate employees, with the primary objective of analyzing the critical roles played by organizational identification and altruistic values within this influencing mechanism. Specifically, the research model hypothesizes that employees' perception of CSR practices not only directly affects their job performance but also indirectly enhances performance by triggering an internal mediating pathway—their altruistic values. Concurrently, employees' level of organizational identification is posited as a significant moderating variable, which may strengthen or weaken the impact of CSR perception on either altruistic values or job performance. This dataset, comprising 420 valid samples, provides a solid data foundation for testing this complex theoretical model that includes both mediating and moderating effects, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of how CSR perception is ultimately translated into tangible job outcomes through employees' psychological and value-based mechanisms.
