资源简介:
The purpose of the study was to generate actionable evidence for social marketing decision making in Botswana, presented in terms of the PSI Dashboard, which is a set of standardized tables for segmentation, monitoring and evaluation of populations (TRaC Tracking Results Continuously) and monitoring of service delivery (MAP Measuring Access & Performance) (Patel & Chapman, 2005). For both components of the study, instruments were developed, pre-tested, and used for conducting personal, face to face interviews at home (TRaC) and in shops (MAP). Using census enumeration areas as the sampling frame, TRaC employed a multi-stage stratified random sampling procedure to select a nationally representative sample of 1687 single males and females aged 15-24 years. Data collection took place during July 13-30, 2005. The MAP exercise employed Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS), which used a random sample of 19 census enumeration areas in each of the five PSI Botswana sales regions.
