Lucifarase activity following transactivation of the PFV LTR.

Activation of the luciferase reporter gene was measured following expression of wild-type Tas or GagGRII-Tas or VP22-Tas in Cos6 cells harboring the pLTR-Luc/pRL-CMV plasmids (direct). The normalized luciferase activity measured in cells transfected with the appropriate empty vector was set to 1. Alternatively, cells expressing wild-type Tas or GagGRII-Tas or VP22-Tas were co-cultured with recipient cells harboring the pLTR-Luc/pRL-CMV plasmids (indirect). Values are representative of three independent transfection experiments performed in duplicate.
