Southern region of Kyrgyzstan: modernity and ethno-demographic development

This article is investigating southern region of Kyrgyzstan, its modernity and ethno-demographic development. Transition to market relations, socio-economic and political reforms, social and economic instability in the country in early years of sovereignty were decisively influenced by the dynamics and character of population life. That is why a deep and comprehensive study of Republics ethno-demographic process is relevant. In this work, based on statistical data, general description of population dynamics, its ethnic composition and migration processes in current ethno-demographic situation were described.本文聚焦吉尔吉斯斯坦南部地区，探讨其现代化进程与民族人口（ethno-demographic）发展状况。该国独立初期的市场经济转型、社会经济与政治改革，以及社会经济动荡，均受到民众生活态势与特征的决定性影响。正因如此，对吉尔吉斯共和国民族人口进程开展深入全面的研究具有重要现实意义。本研究基于统计数据，系统阐述了当前民族人口形势下的人口动态、民族构成与移民进程。
