The bacterium Pseudomonas putida KT2440 has the ability to reduce selenite forming nanoparticles of elemental selenium. This is the transcriptome of the organism when cultured in the presence of selenite. Overall design: P. putida KT2440 was cultured in LB medium in the absence or presence of 1 mM selenite for 1 hour prior to RNA extraction.
