ETS1 induction by the omental microenvironment promotes ovarian cancer metastasis [RNA-Seq]

ETS1 expression is induced by the microenvironment of ovarian metastasis and this expression allows ETS1 to activate a gene expression program involved in cell invasion and epithelial mesenchymal transision. Overall design: mRNA profiles of luciferase knockdown (negative control) and ETS1 knockodwn in the ovarian cancer cell line HEYA8 were generated using deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq. Knockdowns were stable shRNA expression from a lentiviral construct selected with puromycin.
