Sequencing of a nitrifying consortium

This project aimed to use multiple sequencing technologies to profile a nitrifying consortium engineered for water treatment. PacBio shotgun metagenomics was performed on a representative and a separate starter culture was used as starter material for an 8 week experiment under varying redox conditions to monitor composition using Illumina shotgun metagenomic and metatranscriptomic sequencing.
