In dieser Replik auf einen Beitrag von Kurt Greiner über «Psychotherapie als Textmedizin» werden zwei Aspekte zur Diskussion gestellt. Zum einen geht es um die Frage, ob in den gegenwärtigen Entwicklungen der Psychotherapie, die stark von einem medizinisch-technischen Weltbild dominiert wird, die durch die beiden Wortbestandteile «Text» und «Medizin» diese – auch von Greiner kritisierte – Sicht nicht noch verstärkt wird und diese beiden Begriffe daher eher unglücklich gewählt sind (auch wenn sie von Greiner anders interpretiert werden). Damit verbunden ist die Frage, ob nicht stärker unterschieden werden muss zwischen (a) Psychotherapie als Gegenstand der Wissenschaft – die damit im Bereich von kulturell-objektiven Symbolsystemen angesiedelt ist – und (b) Psychotherapie als beziehungsgestaltendes Handeln – das zunächst einmal oder zumindest auch den Fokus auf leiblich-vorsprachliche Erfahrung zu richten hat. Der zweite Aspekt, der zur Diskussion gestellt wird, ist das Verhältnis zwischen unterschiedlichen Wissenschaftskulturen. Der von Greiner vorgenommene Gegensatz von Geistesund Naturwissenschaft wird zwar methodisch geteilt, inhaltlich aber infrage gestellt, da auch die Gegenstände und Prinzipien der von den Naturwissenschaften behandelten Phänomene letztlich Schöpfungen des menschlichen Geistes sind, wie dies bspw. im Pauli-Jung-Dialog betont wurde. In this response to an article by Kurt Greiner on «Psychotherapy as text medicine», two aspects are put up for discussion. The first is the question of whether, in the current developments in psychotherapy, which is strongly dominated by a medical-technical world view, the two word components «text» and «medicine» do not reinforce this view – also criticized by Greiner – and whether these two terms are therefore rather unfortunate choices (even if they are interpreted differently by Greiner). This raises the question of whether it is not necessary to differentiate more clearly between (a) psychotherapy as an object of science – which is thus located in the area of cultural-objective symbol systems – and (b) psychotherapy as a relationship-forming activity – which must first of all or at least also focus on bodily-pre-linguistic experience. The second aspect that is put up for discussion is the relationship between different scientific cultures. Greiner’s contrast between the humanities and the natural sciences is shared in terms of method, but questioned in terms of content, as the objects and principles of the phenomena treated by the natural sciences are ultimately also creations of the human mind, as emphasized, for example, in the Pauli-Jung dialogue. In questa risposta a un articolo di Kurt Greiner su «La psicoterapia come medicina testuale», vengono messi in discussione due aspetti. Da un lato, ci si chiede se negli attuali sviluppi della psicoterapia, fortemente dominata da una visione del mondo tecnico-medica, l’abbinamento di termini che compongono l’espressione «medicina testuale» non rafforzi questa visione – criticata anche da Greiner – e che quindi non rappresenti una scelta appropriata (anche se Greiner li interpreta diversamente). Ciò solleva la questione se sia necessario operare una maggiore distinzione tra (a) la psicoterapia come oggetto di scienza – che si colloca quindi nell’area dei sistemi di simboli culturali-oggettivi – e (b) la psicoterapia come attività formativa della relazione, che deve innanzitutto fondamentalmente concentrarsi sull’esperienza corporea-prelinguistica. Il secondo aspetto che viene messo in discussione è il rapporto tra diverse culture scientifiche. La contrapposizione di Greiner tra scienze umane e scienze naturali è condivisa sul piano metodologico, ma messa in discussione in termini di contenuto, in quanto gli oggetti e i principi dei fenomeni trattati dalle scienze naturali sono in ultima analisi anche creazioni della mente umana, come sottolineato ad es. nel dialogo Pauli-Jung. reviewed publishedVersion
