The preparation of new pharmaceutical salts or cocrystals is a popular method for obtaining compounds with properties superior to those of their components. Pyridoxine was treated with 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid to search for new multicomponent forms of pyridoxine. Depending on the conditions of solution cocrystallization, four different crystalline forms were identified. These include two polymorphic anhydrous forms (Forms I and II) and two hydrates - the monohydrate and the dihydrate. Their crystal structures were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, and CIF files contain structural data.
