Chamonix-Sentinelles

Chamonix-Sentinelles is a research-creation project aimed at exploring the potential of role-playing games to understand and anticipate the challenges of adapting to environmental crises in an Alpine context. Based in Chamonix, and adaptable to other contexts, this game takes an original approach to the theme of ecological transition, proposing a participative, forward-looking approach to projection. The aim is not to make people aware of the changes, which are now well known, but to anticipate future lifestyles in the mountains.

The data collection presented here brings together some of the documentary and sensitive material used as raw material in the elaboration of the Chamonix-Sentinelles role-playing game.
