Human Atlas of Marine Conservation — Socioeconomic Zonal Statistics

This release contains the complete replication package for our manuscript. It includes the "Human Atlas of Marine Conservation — Socioeconomic Zonal Statistics" code and a custom correspondence table mapping spatial features to official statistical sources. It features two key geospatial datasets: a comprehensive background GeoPackage with subnational boundaries integrated with official socioeconomic indicators (HDI, MPI, Youth Literacy Rate), and a final consolidated GeoPackage: OPTO_coastal_communities_socioeconomic_indicators.gpkg containing the spatial layers for the OPTO coastal communities along with their computed localized zonal statistics and average values.
