Ubiquitin-specific protease 39 (USP39), a spliceosome component of the U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP complex, plays potential roles in various solid tumors. Nonetheless, the roles and mechanisms underlying USP39-regualted mRNA splicing remain elusive in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). To establish the causal relationship between USP39 upregulation and hepatocarcinogenesis, hepatocyte-specific USP39 knockin mice (USP39HKI) were generated and used for building DEN/CCl4-induced hepatocarcinogenesis model. The tumor and para-tumor liver tissues of USP39HKI and control mice were collected for RNA sequencing.
