Estimating AMOC from Argo Profiles with Machine Learning Trained on Ocean Simulations [Dataset]

This dataset contains the data that is part of the submitted work "Estimating AMOC from Argo Profiles with Machine Learning Trained on Ocean Simulations". This record holds the input data for the reconstruction of the AMOC on VIKING20X high resolution ocean model output. The input fields are aligned around the RAPID latitude 26.5°N as described in the study. For the input variable, there is the zonal wind stress, the Antilles Current strength, the Florida Current Strength, virtual moorings, and virtual Argo floats. The target variables are the total AMOC strength from the ocean model and a RAPID-like geostrophic estimate.
