Results are shown for Indian and West African scenarios, for varying pre-control mf prevalence levels (based on diagnosis with 60 µL blood smears), for annual and semiannual mass drug administration with varying coverage levels. Coverage is defined as the percentage treated out of the total population (including non-eligibles). Total program costs are estimated for a total population of 100,000 eligible persons, based on the estimated total cost per treatment round as presented in Table 3. The costs of donated drugs are excluded (albendazole for India, ivermectin and albendazole for West Africa), but costs of any drugs that have to be purchased by the government are included (DEC for India).
