Listeria monocytogenes at Retail during Covid-19

These are environmental Listeria monocytogenes isolates found in retail deli departments during the Covid-19 pandemic. The goals fo this project were (i) to determine prevalence of L. monocytogenes during the pandemic and (ii)validate a predictive modeling tool to detect stores wit potentially high L. monocytogenes prevalence. We also used these data to investigate the relationship between cleaning and sanitation practices, management strategies, and infrastructure of the stores with L. monocytogenes prevalence.
