Ngn family transcription factors (TFs) are important neurogenic regulators during development. The aim of this study is to examine the ability of two Ngn family members, Ngn1 and Ngn3, to induce neuron fates from mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) through direct cell fate reprogramming. MEFs were infected with Ngn1/Ngn3-expressing lentiviruses; Cells were collected 24hours and 13 days after Ngn1/Ngn3 overexpression, and processed for RNA-Seqs.
