Based on the content, responsibility and complexity of the position, positions in public administration are classified into families and levels defined in the Catalogue of Posts - 30.11.2010. Cabinet Regulation No 1075 on the catalogue of posts in state and local government institutions (https://m.likumi.lv/doc.php?id=222271). There is a specific monthly salary band for each level of the job family. The data set ** does not contain** information on the positions of officials with special service ranks in the institutions of the system of the Ministry of the Interior and the Prisons Administration.
