We isolated seven different brain tissues(angular gyrus, anterior caudate, cingulate gyrus, hippocampus middle, inferior temporal lobe, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and ventrolateral prefrontal cortex) from M.fascicularis of one individual and produced paired data of whole genome bisulfite sequencing and whole transcriptome sequencing.

The crab-eating monkey is widely used for pharmacological experiments due to its relatively small body size. The complex DNA methylation patterns in the brain regions of primates play key roles in epigenetic regulation. Previous studies of methylated CpG-binding domains using microarray technology or peak identification of sequence reads mostly focused on developmental stages or disease, rather than normal brains. We generated RNA-seq and whole-genome bisulfite sequencing data from seven different brain regions from one adult individual.
