In a survey conducted in 2023, about 94 percent of respondents in India and 73 percent of respondents in South Korea stated that they have to test drive a vehicle to make sure it is the right one before purchasing it. Comparatively, about 91 percent of respondents in China and 77 percent respondents in Japan answered that they need to physically interact with the vehicle before buying.
